iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam are in the running for the Best Trade Show Award – Affiliates – iGB.
Clarion Gaming’s iGB brand has been recognized for its contribution to the resurgence of in-person gatherings.
iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam are vying for the Best International Trade Show category at this year’s awards ceremony. It will be facing off against global events from the hospitality, energy and manufacturing industries on March 18, just before iGB Affiliate London opens its doors at London’s ExCeL on April 13.
Naomi Barton, Head of the iGB portfolio, characterized the awards as the ideal way to launch the return of iGB Affiliate London.
“It’s a great honor for iGB to be included alongside some truly successful and well-known events,” stated Barton. “This is a fantastic reflection of the Clarion team, the Amsterdam RAI team, and our community of attendees, exhibitors and sponsors who worked tirelessly and enthusiastically to deliver a record-breaking edition.”
She highlighted that the assessment standards employed by the adjudicators prioritized exhibitor contentment as a crucial metric. Post-event questionnaires conducted by Explori placed iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate London among the top 10% for attendee benchmarks and the top 2% for exhibitors.
“Being nominated is a remarkable accomplishment in itself, and to advance further would be the ideal preparation for greeting global attendees at ExCeL in April.”
This year’s iGB Affiliate London, scheduled for April 13-14, is almost one-third larger than in 2020, attracting 159 exhibitors and sponsors from 29 regions. It will occupy three halls at ExCeL London, encompassing both well-established brands and newcomers.
Barton mentioned that pre-registration figures have also risen considerably, driven by the UK government’s relaxation of travel restrictions. There has also been a noticeable surge in registrations from the US market, whose total addressable market is projected to expand 200% over the next five years.
“Feedback from the Association of Event Organizers, whose members host over 1,700 events annually, suggests that returning participants feel safe and secure, while displaying a high level of pent-up demand and eagerness to conduct business,” she stated. “All signs indicate that iGB Affiliate London will be a tremendous success and a memorable experience.”
