MicroGaming has finalized the transfer of its Quickfire division to gaming provider Games Global Limited. The agreement was initially declared in November of 2021.
Games Global was established in 2021 with the objective of supplying content distribution to global markets. The privately-held firm is directed by CEO Walter Bugno and CFO Tim Mickley.
Bugno previously occupied roles at IGT and Lottomatica, while Tim Mickley worked for SafeCharge and Playtech.
Bugno vacated his position at IGT in May 2021.
The transaction will grant Games Global access to Quickfire’s collection of gaming content and its wide customer network.
“This is a significant achievement for both MicroGaming and Games Global, and is the outcome of numerous months of diligent effort and commitment from both groups,” stated MicroGaming CEO Andrew Clucas. “The online gaming industry undeniably presents a plethora of opportunities for Games Global, and we extend our best wishes for their future endeavors.”
MicroGaming will now concentrate on providing platform systems to numerous online gaming brands, including Games Global, and will continue to furnish its sports betting software services to Betway.
