Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) is entering the New Hampshire gambling sector with the purchase of the Chasers Poker Room. This well-liked location, recognized for its poker and table games, will be a vital element of CDI’s northeastern expansion strategy. Although Chasers has existed since 2017, CDI is especially keen on its possibilities as a center for historic horse racing (HHR). New Hampshire recently enabled charitable gaming providers to provide HHR, and Chasers, a short distance from Boston, is ideally situated to benefit. CDI intends to utilize this chance by constructing a larger Salem location expressly for HHR devices.
