The Confederation of Asian Football (CAF) and Sportradar have lengthened their alliance, reinforcing their dedication to protecting the honesty of soccer in Asia. This fresh accord, effective from 2024 through 2027, expands upon a cooperative effort initiated in 2013, signifying a 14-year landmark.

Throughout the years, the CAF and Sportradar have worked together on numerous endeavors to combat game manipulation within Asian soccer. The revitalized agreement was formalized during a signing event conducted at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha on January 11th, shortly preceding the commencement of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023. Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, the CAF President, and Carsten Koerl, the CEO of Sportradar, were both in attendance for the signing.

“Sportradar has been a valuable, dependable, and trusted ally for the CAF over the past ten years, and collectively, we have achieved substantial progress in the battle against match-fixing in Asia,” remarked the CAF President.

“Commencing in 2013, our partnership has strategically expanded to adjust to the perpetually evolving terrain of integrity risks, and we have cultivated an even more robust connection with Sportradar,” he appended.

Carsten Koerl, the Chief Executive Officer of Sportradar, supplemented: “The triumph of this partnership serves as a testament to the potency of our joint effort and mutual objective of maintaining the integrity of CAF tournaments.”
